Direct Response Fundraising
With more than twelve years in the business, I've worked with dozens of clients to send millions of pieces of mail that achieve results.
I have a track record for providing not only effective, long-form copy for fundraising appeals, but strategy around multi-channel campaigns. I help non-profits maximize the ROI on direct response fundraising, both in acquisitions and renewals.
While on staff at the Jewish Museum of Maryland, I wrote successful grants for city, state, federal, and private grantors.
There is no silver bullet for grant writing, but in my experience the most successful grant applications both convey passion and use language with precision.
Considering applying for grants for your non-profit? Let me translate your passion into a finely crafted application.
Let's fund the change you want to see.
I am seeking representation for The Letterbook, a young adult novel of historical fiction, complete at 80,000 words. The story of Rose, a 14-year-old white Jewish girl, and how her friendship with Lily, a Black girl the same age, changed Rose's family. The novel unfolds through letters, journal entries, Rose's narration, and historic newspaper articles from the Baltimore Sun, the Afro-American, and the Baltimore Jewish Times.
I'm also working on a proposal for representation for a non-fiction work, Jewish Antiracism: A History and Guide.
I'd love to talk to you! Your writing projects or mine?
